Customers cannot complete checkout when their saved card is expired. Need a clearer retry path and error message instead of a silent failure.

Reproduced on staging. Stripe returns card_expired; need to map that into the checkout UI and retry flow.
Working on the retry banner and expired-card messaging now. Should have a preview later today.
